<p>Welcome to Acid Straps. These Terms of Service govern access to and use of <a href="https://www.acidstraps.com">www.acidstraps.com</a> and the purchase of our products. By browsing the site or placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms.</p>
<h2>1. Who we are</h2>
<p>Acid Straps — a Brazilian brand of handmade straps for musical instruments and leather accessories.</p>

<h2>2. Acceptance and changes</h2>
<p>These Terms form an agreement between you and Acid Straps. We may update them to reflect changes in our operations, products or applicable law. The version in force is always the one published on this page. Changes do not affect orders already confirmed.</p>
<h2>3. Who can buy</h2>
<p>You must be at least 18 years old, or be assisted by a legal guardian, and provide true, complete and up-to-date information. You are responsible for the details you enter at checkout, including the delivery address.</p>
<h2>4. Products, customisation and handmade variation</h2>
<p>Our pieces are handmade to order in leather and other natural materials. This means:</p>
<ul>
<li>Small variations in tone, texture, leather grain and finish between pieces are inherent to handmade work and are not defects.</li>
<li>Colours shown in photos may vary depending on your screen and lighting.</li>
<li>Stated measurements may vary within the tolerance typical of handmade work.</li>
<li>Customised products are made exclusively to the options you select (leather, lining colour, end tab, buckle and other combinations). Please review your choices before completing your order: once production starts, changes may not be possible.</li>

<p>We hold no stock. Each order starts the production of your piece.</p>
<h2>5. Prices, taxes and payment</h2>
<p>Prices are shown in Brazilian reais (BRL) unless another currency is selected, and may change at any time without notice. The valid price is the one displayed when you complete your order.</p>
<p>We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Payments are processed by third-party providers subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We do not store full card details.</p>
<p>In the event of an obvious pricing, listing or availability error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund you in full, notifying you by email.</p>
<h2>6. Order confirmation and refusal</h2>
<p>An order is only confirmed once payment is approved. We may refuse or cancel orders in cases such as suspected fraud, incomplete or inconsistent delivery details, material unavailability, or inability to ship to the given destination. In these cases the amount paid is refunded in full.</p>
<h2>7. Production and delivery times</h2>
<p>The total time is production time plus transit time. Timelines shown on the site and at checkout are estimates and start from payment confirmation.</p>
<p>After dispatch, transport is handled by the carrier or postal service. Delays caused by strikes, weather, customs inspection or force majeure are outside our control. Incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer, and refusal to accept delivery, may incur additional reshipping costs.</p>
<h2>8. International shipping</h2>
<p>We ship worldwide. For international orders, any import duties, customs charges and clearance fees are the recipient's responsibility and are charged by the authorities in the destination country, not by Acid Straps. We recommend checking local rules before buying.</p>
<h2>9. Exchanges, returns and refunds</h2>
<p>Withdrawal, exchange, return, warranty and refund rules are set out in our <a href="/en/policies/refund-policy">Refund Policy</a>, which forms part of these Terms.</p>
<h2>10. Product care</h2>
<p>Leather pieces need basic care: avoid excessive moisture, direct heat, chemicals and abrasives. Natural wear of the material through use is not considered a defect. Specific instructions come with the product or can be requested by email.</p>
<h2>11. Customer account</h2>
<p>If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity carried out with them. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use. We may suspend or close accounts in cases of fraudulent use or breach of these Terms.</p>
<h2>12. Intellectual property</h2>
<p>The Acid Straps name, logo, texts, photographs, videos, site layout and the designs and patterns developed by the brand are protected by intellectual property rights and may not be copied, reproduced, modified or used commercially without prior written permission.</p>
<p>Historical references to artists, bands or strap models in our descriptions are for information and historical context only. They do not imply sponsorship, endorsement, licensing or any association with the respective trademark holders or the artists mentioned, unless expressly stated.</p>
<h2>13. Content you submit</h2>
<p>By submitting reviews, photos or comments, or tagging Acid Straps on social media, you grant us a free, non-exclusive licence to reproduce that content on our channels, with credit where applicable. You warrant that the content is yours and does not infringe third-party rights. We may remove offensive, unlawful or misleading content.</p>
<h2>14. Prohibited use</h2>
<p>You may not use the site for unlawful purposes, attempt to access restricted areas, interfere with the platform, harvest other users' data, transmit viruses or malicious code, or resell our products as if they came from another source.</p>
<h2>15. Limitation of liability</h2>
<p>We make every effort to keep the site available and its information accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Acid Straps is not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit or losses arising from use of the site.</p>
<p>Nothing in these Terms removes or limits the rights granted to you by the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code or other mandatory consumer law.</p>
<h2>16. Third-party links and services</h2>
<p>The site may contain links to third-party pages and uses external payment, shipping and analytics services. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content or practices.</p>
<h2>17. Privacy</h2>
<p>How we handle your personal data is described in our <a href="/en/policies/privacy-policy">Privacy Policy</a>, prepared in accordance with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (Law 13.709/2018).</p>
<h2>18. Governing law and disputes</h2>
<p>These Terms are governed by Brazilian law. Any disputes will be settled in the courts of the consumer's domicile, as provided by the Consumer Protection Code. You may also file complaints through official consumer channels such as Procon and <a href="https://www.consumidor.gov.br">consumidor.gov.br</a>.</p>
